DIY: Patchwork Bed - uses recycled wool sweaters, etc. Not the kind of textures for beds for pets who shed frequently - hairs will get caught in fibers and things will get messy quick. Whatever you choose, make sure you can easily machine wash & dry final bed covering. Polar Fleece is a great alternative - although long pet hairs will still get caught in it, the fabric is easier to care for.

An old map, a piece of tapa cloth, a montage of family photos just tacked into the gaps as well as little objects. Love the patchwork of various cushions and the bunting above the bed.
