Go to Lowes and buy the cheapest board they have (12″ x 36″) I believe it is around $6.50 for the board, and you can pay .25 a cut at Lowes as well. I cut a large cardboard "1" from a diaper box. I painted the front turqoise. Then glued 45 turqoise cupcake liners to the cardboard with Tacky Glue. I took each paper and stuck my finger in the middle twisting slightly. If there are gaps, it's ok because the background is painted. I glued a small loop of ribbon at the top to hang onto the wreath hanger. Then added the big red bow!
