I made these vases for end of year teacher gifts last year. I bought simple straight vases for a dollar at the dollar store. Instead of just wrapping the pencil crayons with a ribbon, I hot glued them right on the vases. One I did in rainbow colours and one I did in random colours. They were a big hit, with lots of oooh and aaahs!
DIY Colored Pencil Vase (Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas)
sequined vases- I simply tipped a bag of silver plastic sequins into the empty vase using a funnel and then topped the vase up with water. Some sequins floated and some sank and then I just popped in a bright red rose and voila, instant glam! If you want a more delicate look simply choose an appropriate bloom.
