Winter Ratatouille - Vegan. Made this with a few modifications for personal taste. Delicious, filling and easy to make. Topped with goat cheese for some extra creaminess. Yum!

On a tray, place a pile of baking soda. Mix vinegar + a few drops of food coloring in a cup. Give the kids an eyedropper. Have them fill it with vinegar, squeeze onto the baking soda and watch mini volcanoes erupt! so fun!!

We always do this at my house!! I'm amazed how many people don't know this. Cook bacon in the oven. Cover cookie sheet with parchment paper first. We do 375 for about 20 min instead of 400 for ten because the lower and slower the more fat renders out. Then all the bacon is done at the same time, meanwhile you were free to make the rest of breakfast. -Martha Stewart **works like a charm, less messy and leaves the stove top open**

Healthy Homemade Ranch: 1 cup dannon oikos plain greek yogurt, 1 packet hidden valley ranch mix, 1/2 cup 1% milk (I used organic skim). Whisk (hand mixer) together, chill 1 hour before use. Perfect consistency and tastes better than bottled! -- It's so good that I'm eating it with raw broccoli and I despise broccoli!
