PeeGee hydrangea - these can be trees or bushes and bloom white ALL summer long!!!!!!!!! They go a golden/pink in the fall

Acer Palmatum dissectum 'Crimson Queen' (Weeping Japanese Maple) Height: 8-10 ft. (2.4-3 m) 10-12 ft. (3-3.6 m). Note on red leaf color- Just like our skin darkens in color, exposure to the sun will darken the red color on Japanese maples leaves. A few hours to ½ day may be enough but more sun will develop a deeper red on the leaves while shady areas grow leaves with a red-blushed green.

This would be pretty in front of the front porch. Mini landscape - Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'Seiryu') towers over red-leafed 'Little John' azalea, variegated ivy and abelia in a 2- by 4-foot rectangular black zinc container.

Will often see this combo... green evergreen + globe blue spruce + a red japanese maple

Don't know what type of tree this is... But it's pretty and blooms white flowers!!

Love the setting that the tree is in. Brick stone circle with colored wood chips inside surrounding the tree - stunning :)

Purple Fountain Grass... This looks great! Almost no maintenance once established!

how do you stop the grass from growing? Want to do something similar to my front yard any answers would be great thank you :)

  • Kerby

It is suggested you remove any existing grass, then create a barrier between the soil/mulch by layering several layers of newspaper on top of one another then put your mulch down. Good Luck
