When multiple forms of illegality interact, causality loops appear. For example, narco-traffickers corrupt the legal system in their search for impunity, and a nonfunctional legal system is a stimulus for more criminal activity. This causality loop reinforces itself and composes a message understood at all levels of society: Illegality and crime are efficient means for achieving personal goals. Illegality can thus impregnate culture.
The Iberian Lynx is the rarest of cats. It currently struggles to survive in the cork forests of Spain, where it once thrived. The biodiversity in the ecosystem supported by cork forests is second only to that of the Amazon rain forests. At inCork, our mission is to expand the presence of cork through art in education, innovation and upcycling.
