I'm going to try this. Have a headache/migraine? Submerge your feet and hands in hot/warm water and put a bag of frozen peas at the base of your skull. The heat on your extremities pulls the blood from your head relieving some/all of your headache.

To avoid tangles when you travel, slip your necklace through a drinking straw. Such a great idea!

microwave peanut brittle! - Fail proof microwave recipe I've been making for over 35 years at Christmas time! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS!!!

Peanut Brittle - Peanut brittle has always been a favorite in my family. I remember my Grandmother would make it right before every Christmas to give to friends as gifts. Then, Mama began making it to take to her office during the holidays and for gifts to friends and neighbors. I’d watch them as they quickly made their brittle, standing at a safe distance away from the molten magic until it had cooled enough for sampling.

Kentucky Butter Cake – This was originally a Pillsbury Best Cook off winner in the early 60’s. I’ve been making it since about ’62 and every time is a winner. The only change I have made in 50 years is to use about 3 tablespoons of dark rum in the glaze instead of the rum flavoring. This cake is absolutely wonderful!

This marinated Salmon baked in a foil packet for 15 min stayed tender, and caramelized beautifully on the bottom. Makes an easy, elegant meal. MadeFromPinterest...

Ice Cream in a Bag This is SOOO easy… and delicious! In a small Ziplock bag, put: 1/2 C. half and half (milk works too) 1 Tbps. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Insert that bag into a larger, one gallon Ziplock filled with ice and salt. Shake the bag for five minutes. Kids love that part! Then, remove the smaller bag which should have turned into ice cream. I did this in elem school and have been looking every where for it!
