Red leaf in a spiderweb
Looks like it could be a book of poetry - makes me think of when I was a kid, my very favorite bedtime story was Longfellow's 'The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere' - poor Mom had to read it to us probably at least once a week; I'm sure she must've gotten massively sick of 'Listen my children, and you shall hear...' but we never did... There's nothing like a good bedtime story, is there?

Autumn Vineyard by Habub3, via Flickr
Acorn: strength, money, health, protection. Sleep with them under your pillow and you may overcome challenges in your life. An acorn should be carried to bring luck and ensure long life. Acorns placed in the window guard against lightning. Carry three acorns as charms to invoke youth, beauty and attainment upon its owner. Planting an acorn in the dark of the Moon will bring you money. Acorns hung in the window from the sill are said to bring prosperity and luck to the home.
