10 Laundry Soap Recipes. This is the best website I have found yet. I save sooo much money making my own laundry soap. There are lots of good reccomendations in the comments too. Use white vinegar in a Downy ball as fabric softer :) safe for HE washers, baby skin, and great for people with allergies! I typically use number 4.

ONLY use this and it leaves floor spotless. (Heavy duty floor cleaner recipe: ¼ cup white vinegar 1 tablespoon liquid dish soap ¼ cup baking soda 2 gallons tap water, very warm.)

Place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains. Great for when you move into a new place
