DIY whimsical pinwheel wall that actually spins! Such a fun idea for kids spaces, and it's SO inexpensive to make!

"Thrift store frame + simple wooden box + paint & hooks" / instead of trying to find a cool box!

Find a poster big enough & mod podge to front of cabinet. Exacto knife to slit around the drawers & some gentle sanding on all the edges to take off the extra paper. Spruce up the ol'dresser!

Easy DIY- a piece of wood, 4 legs (all of which are sold at home depot for around $5)- padding, and then staple pretty fabric :) - Could make a nice custom bench for the end of the bed. @Chrissy Hisel - if instead of a flat board you used a drawer, then hinged the flat board to the top of it, you'd have storage, too . . .

I so want to do this with some of my class t-shirts we have made over my years teaching.

Plastic Solo Cup Light...great for ambient light in a classroom...and it's recyclable :) Somehow I think Chrissy will want RED SOLO CUPs!!

Weekly calendar. Designed each frame with scrapbook supplies, then use dry erase marker on the glass.

AND you can change the background at any time. I love it, and hope Chrissy wants one in her dorm room in a few years!

Magnetic Board from Baking Sheet

Magazine paper rolled up and glued to a balloon. Burst balloon after drying. But I'm thinking of doing this w/ yarn or ribbon instead of paper . . . or maybe in addition (mixed media??)

Plain lamp + hot glue gun = Amazingness
