Linens ~ Laundry & Lace
At times I get the urge to fluff and tuck. I also love antique/vintage fabric and linens, with their distinct look, feel and colors. Dye lots of the past are not the same in modern manufacturing and cannot be replicated simply because the process is no longer the same and will not produce color(s) the same way ~ resulting in real fabric treasures.

Vinegar Uses including how to make socks look new!
Over time, towels build up detergent and fabric softener, leaving them unable to absorb as much water and smelling funky. Recharge them by washing them once with hot water and one cup vinegar, then a second time with hot water and half cup baking soda. This strips the residue and leaves them fresh and able to absorb more water again. Works like a charm!
