This is so lovely. We have a belief in our family that Santa only comes to those who believe. My kids have never swayed in their determination to believe in Santa, they know that if they don't believe, there are no Santa presents. I'm happy to buy them Santa presents until they are 30, if it keeps some magic and happiness alive for them, because if its alive for them, its alive for me too.

If you need to consult a list of questions to ask your kids at bedtime--or sometime during the day--then you need to put down the phone, close your laptop & be hands-on with your kids, play pretend & most importantly, LISTEN to them. It's freaking ridiculous that people don't know this shit about their kids.
