This would be great. Then I can grab it and say "I thought you maybe joining us today." instead of "oh, we weren't expecting a new student.". It will get us off on the right foot. bags for a "New Student" ... so much better than scrounging for stuff every time a new student arrives!

Classroom: My whiteboard organization! I used black electric tape to grid my white board. I printed signs for Monday-Friday, weekly agenda, bellwork, today and objective on my computer, glued it to black paper and laminated them! Then taped them up! This helps to keep me and my students organized! :)

Refinished colorful teacher rocking chair!! Step 1: buy a de-glosser and wipe down all surfaces Step 2: spray whole chair with a white primer spray paint Step 3: go to Home Depot and pick out fun colors and have them make you the paint samples of each Step 4: be creative! Step 5: spray chair with a clear coat of spray paint to seal it all in!

Pick six students every Friday and write them a special note on their desks for them to find Monday morning. Keep a list and start again when everyone in the class has been done.
