Often referred to as an albino peacock, it is nothing of the sort. It's technically a white peacock which is a genetic variant of the Indian Blue Peafowl. The colors in the feathers of a bird are determined two factors: pigment and structure. its unusual lack-of-color is due to a missing pigment. This missing pigment is dark and absorbs incident light, making diffracted and interference light visible.
very beautiful white peacock
Over time we learn that things are most often not what they seem. If someone you know is angry one day, or if a family member snaps at a family dinner, or if you start crying for no reason...it's because so much of what we experience is actually under the surface. There is value to peeking beneath the surface...even if it's scary or inconvenient to do so.

Cambodia: Ta Prohm Temple. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Ta Prohm has been left in much the same condition in which it was found: the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of Angkor's most popular temples with visitors.
