I just found crafts made with pots that Ray and I made in 1980...am going to do this with my kids so they have ours and theirs too!
Mother's day idea. Paint a clay pot with craft paint. Then spray the entire pot with clear mod podge spray or sealing spray paint. Add eyes and matching plants.

Girl Scout Awards Flower Pot... I painted a terra cotta pot blue for each Daisy and wrote their names on them. I spray painted Popsicle sticks green for the "stem" and glued a patch on each stick. I even put craft moss on top (I had this in my craft stuff) and stuck in the patches. After they empty the pots, they can use them for hair ties, toys or whatever they like!
