Sarah Vaughan sang jazz from the 50's through the 70's. She sang, "Tenderly", Send in the Clowns", "If You Could See Me Now", "Body and Soul", "I've Got a Crush on You", That Luck Ol' Sun", "My Funny Valentine", "Whatever Lola Wants", "Misty", "How Long Has This Been Going On". In 1988, she was inducted into the American Jazz Hall of Fame.
Several of my friends from high school have toured with Harry Connick Jr. (one continues to be his go to bass-man). I met Harry in STL when he came in town for a performance at the Fox Theater in 1990. He is all that and a bag of cracker jacks. Harry's charm, beauty, charisma, sense of humor, and talents are what make him invincible as a superstar.
