Bathroom - How-to: Oversize terry cloth bath towels make terrific slipcovers. Preshrink the towels, then bring them to an upholsterer who can fashion them into a chair cover. Be sure to ask your upholsterer to add buttons down the back of the slipcover, so you can easily slip it on and off for laundering.

This bathroom is a lot like the one in our Tippah Ave house in Charlotte; it too was small with: a window above the tub; a pedestal sink; and the commode was between the sink and the tub. There was one small medicine cabinet, so the three of us (J, G, and me) kept our personal toiletries in little handled bins we took into the bathroom with us. The medicine cabinet held the things we all used: aspirin, etc. This system actually worked quite well for us. I installed glass shelves above the commode which held soap, cotton balls, etc. and I stored extra folded towels on the back of the commode. This was the best tub I've ever used in my life, and I loved my little bathroom.
