Eco Christmas tree | Search for books with green covers for an original Christmas tree. Advantages: it will not dry out, no dirt on carpet, cheaper and does not need too much effort to be carried or to be arranged. It is an interesting and mysterious Christmas tree, full of knowledge which has its own stories hidden under the green covers.
DIY modern perforated christmas trees...uses simple paper mache cones found at the craft store...drill a few holes (sand them a bit as needed) and spray paint white. Set a LED tealight (battery operated) under the cone for the lit up effect! Looks just like those expensive ceramic ones I saw somewhere but CHEAPER! :)
