Simple aphid control - something yellow covered in vaseline

Black spots on the leaves of your rose bushes, followed by yellow leaves and then bony stems and no leaves? Pull off leaves with black spot. Mix 1/4 cup of skim milk in a gallon of water in your watering can and rinse over the rose bushes, the rose bush will sprout many new growth stalks since it responds to milk just like a good fertilizer. I would repeat this rinse every 4 weeks.

Amazing Organic Weed Killer Spray. 1/2 gallon of Apple Cider Vinegar 1/4 c table salt 1/2 tsp Dawn liquid dish soap Mix and pour into a spray bottle Spray weeds thoroughly. It makes 1/2 gallon for around $6.40 It worked better than Round Up killed the weeds on first application. The Dawn dish soap strips the weed of its protective oils so the vinegar can work with deadly force. Safe to use a yard used by pets

Really? Flip the peppers over to check their gender. The ones with four bumps are female. The ones with three bumps are male. The female peppers are full of seeds. You can save yourself some money by getting the males. Who knew?!

My allotment neighbour has a row of roses, which he took as cuttings. I asked how he took them. He simply plunges the cuttings into the ground. But his secret of success is the humble potato! Before planting cuttings, he pushes the bottom end into a small potato, which he believes keeps the cuttings moist as they develop roots. It sounds crazy, but his row of allotment roses is proof it works. Try it, and let us know how you get on.

I saw these gourd lights at a restaurant in Istanbul. So I search the net on how to make them.Simple enough.I love it!
