Babies 1st Birthday

This recipe lives up to its claim. The cake has a very moist, tender crumb. Absolutely delicious. However, in making the icing, I recommend creaming the shorting first, and then adding the sugar and milk alternately and slowly. There is also a wonderful peanut butter cup version that is wonderful - sub choc morsel for chopped mini Reese's pieces, add 1/4 peanut butter to icing, and decorate top of cake w/chopped Reese's candy.

LOVE this birthday party idea! Sign with speech bubbles asking what your little one will be when they grow up. Everyone at the party writes in their guess!

So simple but clever - S’mores Pops. Marshmallows on a stick, dipped in melted chocolate and rolled in crusehd grahams!
