Brisket with Carrots and Onions from FoodNetwork.com I decided to work my way through all my Barefoot Contessa recipe books. I made this and it was yummy! I used 1/2 spicy tomato juice which added a lot more flavor and I cooked the brisket at 250 for a longer time. Next time, I might try searing the beef before putting in oven.

could probably do this with sweet potatoes!: thinly slice almost all the way through. drizzle with butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. bake at 425 for about 40 min. These look so tasty! - YUM!!!!!!!!!!
Homemade Pesto!! Here is a recipe for some divine Pesto. Here is how you do it. Take 2 cups of wellpacked Basil leaves 1/2 cup of Extra virgin olive oil 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese Almost half a cup of Pinoli nuts (Pine nuts) 3 to 4 Garlic cloves or after personal preference Salt Freshly ground black pepper after your own taste Mix it all well and just pour it over your favourite pasta.
