interactive number line- Use a retractable clothesline (we got them at Home Depot) for a classroom number line that you can use in an instant and then put away just as fast. We also used it to create sentences, spelling, alphabetical order, etc. the possibilities are endless!!! We've used string in my classroom before but I love how accessible this is.

Think Math: Answer is on the board, students make question on sticky note and put it on their class number.
Love this idea! What's the number? Kids ask questions like Is the number greater than/less than....? Is the number between ___ and ___? Is the number in the tens place ____? etc. No two questions in a row can make the same comparison. Or students may ask in number sentences- - Is the number 5+1?
