Let's Have a Party ~ Finger Food
My sister first made this recipe for my bridal shower in 1997. It has been a favorite for most get togethers since then. I have even made a "wreath" variation by slicing the crescent dough roll into slices and arranging in a circle on a baking pan. Top with mostly green and red veggies for a Christmas color scheme.
Pepperoni String Cheese Roll Ups

Cool Veggie Pizza: 8oz can crescent rolls,8oz cream cheese-softened,1-1/2 t mayo,1 t dill,salt,pepper,2 c chopped fresh veggies (carrots,red peppers,grn onions,tomatoes,cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower),1/4 c shredded cheddar. Preheat oven to 350.Spread dough onto cookie sheet,pinch seams together.Bake 10-12 min,until lightly brown.Cool completely.Blend cream cheese,mayo,dill,salt & pepper.Spread on top of cooled crust. Sprinkle vegetables on top.Add grated cheese.Refrigerate before serving.
