So easy to sew: it's just 4 rectangles. Measure shoulder to hem length, then girth at widest part (hips?) and divide by 4. Add seam allowance. Sew allowing for neckline, arm holes. No pattern needed. 1/2 hour, max!

    love this!

Looks great but the width of the hem looks much wider than the width of the hips therefore can't be a rectangle. Could you clarify please?

  • Mrsjwr

I think I can clarify… for example my hips and bust are 40" around and it says divide by four. So I would be cutting for rectangles that are 10" wide by the length from my shoulder to hem (~53"). Lay out the four strips on a table with right sides together (two strips on bottom and two on top). Measure from shoulder for armhole and neck and sew from that point down. It will look like a big tent. The shape comes from the belt. Hope this helps!

    10" plus seam allowance!

    Thanks Mrsjwr! Much clearer! Appreciated
