A Watering Can That Pours Crystals hanging out in the back yard off of a beautiful tree. (such a dreamer)
Regrow roses??? "My neighbor has a row of roses, which he took as cuttings. I asked how he took them. He simply plunges the cuttings into the ground. But his secret of success is the humble potato! Before planting cuttings, he pushes the bottom end into a small potato, which he believes keeps the cuttings moist as they develop roots. It sounds crazy, but his row of allotment roses is proof it works." (quote from link)
OP Says: Disney world does this! Lowes sells the 4 to 6" round PVC pipe with holes already drilled. Purchase an end cap, fill with rock, soil, and plant. I will often put these in the center of a very large pot to stabilize, and add amazing height and color to a container that has trailing plants (no end cap or rock needed if you are placing in a container)
DO NOT USE PVC IN FOOD GARDENS! CAREFUL Plastic that is safe to grow food in/with should have recycling numbers 1, 2, 4 and 5 on the bottom. Plastic with a 3 have PVC in them. In time chemicals leach out contaminating soil, which in turn contaminates the food. Styrofoam is made of plastic number 6 and have cancerous effects, Number 7 contains bisphenol A which is harmful to the behavioral growth of children.
How to Trellis Zucchini. (I'm trying something similar this year but also leaving space at the bottom of chicken wire for vines to grow outward as well. I am using plastic chicken wire.)
