My Own Projects.

Finger puppet Valentines for Starfish preschool class.

Bib made from hand towel.

Child's drawing appliqued on mini quilt. (When I left for Space Station in May, my son was drawing only lines, circles, and squiggles. When I returned in November, he was drawing people. He told me this picture is "Jack playing in the grass on a sunny day". I decided to preserve it in the form of a mini quilt. KN)

Simply made. In space. A memento for my husband, made with pieces cut from t-shirts I wore during my stay on Space Station, stitched lightly onto a Russian food container liner. We met in Texas, got married in Texas and had our son in Texas. A special place! KN from space.

Made in space!! I made this dinosaur for my son last Sunday, September 22. It is made out of velcro-like fabric that lines the Russian food containers found here on the International Space Station. It is lightly stuffed with scraps from a used t-shirt. KN from space.

I used that same fabric for a pillow back. My Grandma and I made a latch hook dog together and I made it into a pillow for her Christmas gift. I would have loved to have finished it in space.
