I want to paint my front door... HELP ME! | CafeMom Answers
this isn't my *favorite* 'look' ... but this living room is SO similar to ours in the size, couch color/style, and fireplace & layout... I *had* to pin it, because they make it 'work'. The only difference is that for some reason, our fireplace is off-center, to the left, so it's visually tucked behind the couch. annoying, and the asymetry bugs me so much, I don't know what to do with it!! mirror, wall colors, window, color schemes, basement, family rooms, cozy living rooms, cozy rooms, live room
Tight-Space Laundry In the compact laundry workstation and storage area of a small bathroom, the stacked European-style washer-dryer set economizes space. A shelf between units pulls out for folding items fresh from the dryer, then slides out of sight. A matchstick shade lowers all the way to the floor, gracefully hiding the utility area when guests are expected. laundry room storage, storage area, wicker basket, laundry rooms, laundry area, small bathrooms, laundry closet, small spaces, laundry baskets
Burlap covered bin made from a diaper box - Cheap cheap!
Clever. Paint a bench, wall, and shelf the same color to make it look like a built-in.
We have two old, beautiful solid panel doors that unfortunately just "stop" the eye in heavy trafficked areas of our home. This is a perfect way to have separation of areas + give the eye something more decorative to look at! (don't worry everyone...the current doors won't be harmed in the making of the "new" doors) hall closet, the doors, closet doors, pantry doors, old screen doors, kitchen pantries, interior doors, old doors, antique doors

To say that I have an obsession with window seats is quite possibly the understatement of the century millenium. I just can't get enough! I'm trying my darndest to talk the Mr. into building a cozy window seat banquette into our dining space. Wish me luck with this one ;) I sure have found some fantastic examples out there! kitchens, breakfast nooks, color, plate, kitchen nook, dining nook, hous, kitchen booths, kitchennook
fabric picture frame mats - This would be great for sentimental fabric, like an old baby blanket or a grandmother's tablecloth.
