Fun things to do with old clothes
You’ll need: Cotton or jersey T-shirt you don’t mind cutting up. Or you can pick up a shirt at Goodwill. White and grey make good base colors for pastel or neon cord. 1 yard of rattail cord for each bracelet. You can find lots of fun colors at JoAnn’s for 50-99 cents a yard. Magnets. I got a package of 10 for $2. Glue. Either hot glue or tacky glue or both.

Knotted Headband with tshirt yarn
Upcycle an old, big t-shirt into a cute dolman-style shirt. So, I got a couple of mens band t-shirts from Target and did this. It turned out super cute. I did finish the neck line with a stitch. Maybe its just me but I didnt like the way it looked without it. I will probably make more, I can see myself wearing them all the time.
Flower from old tie
T-shirt ringlet scarf. I don't like these colors together...but this could be cute. I think I would use a skinnier piece of fabric for the ties. I think it makes it look WAY too bulky to be cute. I'm thinking a skinny tie piece that wouldn't make a big knot. That way you could easily cover it with a jewel or small flower or what have you.

A shirtskirt! You can make one in 10 min with an old, oversized men´s shirt, a bit of thread and elastic band. Cut the shirt according to the desired length (stitch elastic at the top) and fold the top with elastic band. Sew the arms together to serve as a belt/sash and add a few belt loops from the excess fabric.
T-shirt scarf. I did this one today with Ashlynn. I thought using her size shirts would make the perfect size scarf for her but they are too thin. An adult shirt works best. If the strips are too wide they will not curl well. I look forward to doing more of these. Free scarves with stuff I already have at home. :)
