Gap of Dunloe, Killarney, Ireland. In a few years, I hope to take my beautiful girlfriend to the one place that always comes to mind as a dream destination for an amazing trip. I've before been to Ireland, but only to spend two days in Dublin, which wasn't bad, but I really want to get back and see the country that birthed my ancestry!

From Ireland, Ballycarbery Castle, Ring of Kerry. When we visited this place, the castle was occupied by a couple of cows!

Blarney Castle, County Cork, Ireland. Seems like a clever person could miniaturize this into a fairy garden...

Norman Gate | Windsor Castle | Berkshire, England | I'm fairly certain I do not need to describe my need to see Europe's oldest (11th century), intact, and in-use royal palace . . . Amazing.

Glendalough or Glendaloch, meaning "glen of two lakes", is a glacial valley in County Wicklow, Ireland. It is renowned for its Early Medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St Kevin, a hermit priest, and partly destroyed in 1398 by English troops. Photo © John Quinn 2012

The Brazen Head is officially Ireland's oldest pub, dating back to 1198. While it is unclear how much of the original 11th century coach house is still intact, there is a palpable sense of history within these timeworn walls. If you are looking for the true Irish pub experience then the Brazen Head Pub should be your first port of call.
