A compiled list of resources I collected while attending the Texas Computer Education Association conference. Enjoy!!

Teacher Clicker - Socrative. This is a learning response system app for teachers. Teachers use this app to create quizzes, ticket out, import quizzes, etc. Cost: FREE.

Student Clicker-Socrative. This app is a learning response app for students. Students enter a room and complete a quiz given by the teacher. All answers are recorded and sent the the teacher app. Cost: FREE.

Pinterest Board to Follow: Curriculum Tools by Commerce ISD

Word Lens App: free. Language translator. Must purchase language packages within the app.

UP by Jawbone: A wristband that tracks your activity, sleep, and meals 24/7. Cost $99.00

Get Human: A website to find how to reach customer service without talking to recordings.

Cools Tools for Interactive Whiteboards via Tammy Worcester. Great resources.

Wufoo: Online form builder that has now been purchased by SurveyMonkey.

LiveScribe Pen: $99.95. Usb port at one end. Camera and Audio recorder at the other end. Transfer notes to computer. Also, soon you will be able to drop notes in Evernote.

Evernote for Schools. Great tool to collaborate, save, share, and syncs with all your devices.! A place to collect websites and put them all on one page. Pages can be categorized.

Class Dojo - online real time student behavior management. This also comes in an app.

Eventbrite: free online event planning.

Rockmelt - Social Media Browser

iCreate: Apps for Creativity Workshop with Randy Rogers. His site has great apps for music, drawing, painting, thinking, writing, video, and design.

Batchgeo - collect data via a Google form and then map your location data. Great site for creating maps within curriculum.

Coin Flipper. Allows you to virtually flip coins.

Learn to auto generate QR codes in Google spreadsheet via Tammy Worcester.

Cool Computer Activities for Social Studies and Science via Tammy Worcester. This page is filled with resources and examples.

Read Ft. Bend ISD implementation of iDevices in their district. This resource will give you the do's/dont's based on their implementation. Lots of good resources on this site.
