Christmas Morning... Cheese Danish - easy enough for anytime
Fruit filled German pancakes made in muffin tins - these are really fun, but you have to make a lot *update* I made 2 1/2 batches and it fed 6 adults and 4 kids with probably a dozen leftover. Each batch does approx. 18 in a regular sized muffin tin. The triple berry sauce was delicious and it saves in the fridge for at least a month! Great as a spread on rolls as well @Influenster @dinolingo
Pancakes made in muffin tins. Only fill the tin 1/2 full and it will create the crater when it bakes. Fill with fresh berries! Hmmm...
For my grandma's eggie-in-a-cup! The best breakfast ever!!!
Homemade Apple Fritters!!! 15 minute recipe! For a healthier non-fried alternative: I turned this into an apple cake of sorts. Used 1/2 spelt, 1/4 white rice flour, 1/4 tapioca flour, vanilla sugar (sugar that has vanilla bean "soaking" in it), 1 T coconut oil (butter replacement), 1/3 rice milk for the milk. Greased the 8x8 pan. Baked at 350F for about 25 minutes.
Homemade Apple Fritters (donuts) remind me of Gramma :)
Monkey Bread from Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits
Cute and simple canned cinnamon rolls.
The trick is to put the pan in a cold oven and then switch it on and begin your timer. Im amazed how many people dont know this. Cook bacon in the oven. Cover cookie sheet with tinfoil first. We do 375 for about 20 min instead of 400 for ten because the lower and slower the more fat renders out. I hate getting SPLATTERED!! This works perfect!
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper, then lay the bacon strips flat, making sure pieces do not overlap. Bake until crisp and browned, 15 to 18 minutes, or desired doneness, rotating the sheets once. Transfer strips to a paper towel to drain.
