Places I Will Go
Situated at the Villa di Pratolino in Vaglia, Tuscany, Italy. Statue of "Appennino" (1579-1580), a colossal sculpture by Giambologna, which originally seemed to emerge from the vaulted rockwork niche that once surrounded him. Multiple grottoes with water-driven automata, a water organ, surprise jets that drenched visitors' finery when the fontanieri opened secret spigots, offered striking juxtapositions of Art with imitations of rugged Nature.

Lake Retba, Senegal or as the French refer to it Lac Rose, is pinker than any milkshake you’ve ever come face to straw with. Experts say the lake gives off its pink hue due to cyanobacteria, a harmless halophilic bacteria found in the water. Lake Retba also has a high salt content, much like that of the Dead Sea, allowing people to float effortlessly in the massive pink water.
"This is Flathead Lake in northwestern Montana, USA. The water is so transparent that it seems that this is a quite shallow lake. In fact, it is 370.7 feet deep." "It is one of the cleanest in the populated world for its size and type. Its known maximum depth is 370.7 ft (113.0 m), making it deeper than the average depths of the Yellow Sea or the Persian Gulf." I've been here and it truly is that clear. So beautiful!
