silestone quasar quartz countertops--I like the amount of brown and white in this stone.

Absolutely gorgeous dining space! THE BREAKFAST NOOK A rough-hewn wood trestle table from Charles Pollock Showroom is softened with a curvy custom banquette and a pair of Hickory Chair seats swathed in Hodsoll McKenzie back fabric. Lighting by Michael Berman Limited, through C.A.I. Designs, lends the space decorative dazzle befitting the glorious lakeside setting.

Light hard wood & mega island
Ok, I think this is my official inspiration photo. White surround cabinets with dark island (shaker style?), white counters (would prefer granite over marble), white backsplash (this is where I want marble), love the pendants and the range hood!, Oh and those are the perfect floors!
Sources: Light by Restoration Hardware. Floors: Navarre ‘Montauban’. Stools: The stools are from Design Within Reach. Island: the island is stained oak. Countertop: Calacatta Oro Marble. Backsplash: from Ann Sacks. Paint: Cabinets, walls and trims are Hazy Skies OC-48 by Benjamin Moore. Image: homebunch

gorgeous dining space
Playful Breakfast Nook A window-filled alcove functions like a dining room with a casual table, two slipcovered end chairs, and a pillow-topped banquette. The built-in bench and wall of windows make this small space seem much larger. Two vintage light fixtures hung with nautical rope instead of standard chains illuminate the space in this beach house.
