Crafty- Holidays- Christmas

Easy Advent Calendar with Ornaments - we have a small tree where we place one ornament each night.

Styrofoam balls, sprayed with glue and then rolled in glitter. Much cheaper than huge ornaments.

Cinnamon ornaments. Last so long and smell so good!! Been wanting to make more of these for years. Now here's the recipe.

DIY Advent Tree by A Beautiful Mess

Each kid gets their own wrapping paper - none of the gifts are marked, and in order to know which gifts are theirs, they have to find a tiny piece of their wrapping paper in the bottom of their stocking. it's a little last minute excitement, as they see the gifts, but don't know which belongs to who. :)

Why didnt I think of that ? Tie squares of tulle fabric along a string of Christmas lights. This would be beautiful on a tree or mantle.

Add real greenery to the faux tree to fill the gaps and add a living element. The fresh scent helps too. You could add holly, real berry branches, magnolia leaves, etc. Genius!

Make your own candles, scented or unscented.

For the Christmas tree- Glue 2 mini mirrors, back to back and insert a silver metallic cord for hanging. Fill the insides of the tree with these after putting on the lights, but before putting on the ornaments. The sparkle will be tripled...and Christmas tree sparkle is awesome.
