When you paint a room, put some extra paint in a baby jar* and keep it handy for quick touch-ups. pinner said *I did this Aug. 2011 - don't use a baby food jar - use a peanut butter jar that has a PLASTIC lid or it will rust - that was a tip from my painter - it's all stored in a cabinet in the house - just take it out and shake well and use a q-tip for quick touch ups. This has got to be one of the best things I've ever pinned!!!!

Paint door to garage a pretty color. That door is so hard to keep clean in white.
Avoid paint strippers by removing paint from old hardware using a hot water bath.....If you want to strip paint from metal without the nasty fumes and mess of chemical strippers, just fill a slow cooker with water and set the dial to high. The heat and moisture will soften the paint, and often it will fall off as a single piece. Water, Remov Paint, Chemical Free, Paint Removal, Crock Pots, Hardware, Hous, Slow Cooker, Paints
