Pets In Need
PLEASE SIGN PETITION: The Taiwanese Council of Agriculture (COA) is planning to test whether a new strain of rabies will spread from ferret-badgers to dogs. It aims to inject rabies into at least 14 puppies, & it is hoping that the world will turn a blind eye to this awful experiment. But it is already well-known that rabies can infect warm-blooded animals. The proposed experiment is unnecessary & cruel.
Taiwanese Government: Cancel plans to expose unvaccinated beagle puppies to the rabies virus!
New York Times features DOG for DOG
This handsome 4 year old with a very unique blue/gray coloring went his whole young life being unloved as part of a household that neglected him. A kind neighbor rescued Bolt and he’s now looking for a home. Bolt absolutely adores children and gets along with other dogs and cats. He is extraordinarily sweet and loves being a cuddlebug. He’s very quiet and would make a great apartment dog.
Parsley is a little gal that someone alerted us to at the North Central Shelter—she had two broken legs! Parsley has really touched the hearts of so many of you, as well as Much Love. Her courage is astounding and her prognosis is excellent because of the freshness of the fractures. They think she may have fallen off a balcony or something very high. She has a long road ahead of her to recovery but we will make sure it is filled with love and as little pain as possible.
Donut is a sweet, playful Shepherd mix with excellent leash manners.
Zubin | Much Love Animal Rescue A very sweet and friendly guy—loves people! Formerly named Teddy and soft as a teddy bear. Zubin was previously adopted out of the shelter but returned because the family was allergic. He’s a low-rider and VERY CUTE! He seemed receptive to other dogs sniffing him but is a little cautious and tried to stand tough, but no actual aggression.
