I always loved Dogwood. They grew abundantly in our woods when I was a child. They would stand out among all of the green leaves and trees surrounding them. Fondest memory of dogwood is of the times my dad would cut branches and take them back to the house to give to my mom and the look of young lovers it would bring to both of them every time.
