#229. This book saved me a lot of money. The five dollars meant lodging, food, transportation, hashish, drink . . . everything Americans might want. Really, it was a great book. FACTOID: Beware Parisian taxi drivers. Never give them a large bill while from outside of the vehicle while they are in the driver's seat. I'm just saying. Rat bastard. All I saw were tail lights fading into the distance, leaving me in the middle of the road and my jaw on the ground. bit.ly/pinadrift
Europe on 5 Dollars a Day Book...ahh, if only that was still possible.
