Note to self: I am allowed to cry. I am allowed to scream. But, I am not allowed to give up. It will all get done somehow. Just breathe. #recovery
Great Quote - Wow, this is so true. So often we see people on the outside and we think their life is "perfect" The perfect mom, the perfect wife, the perfect housekeeper. There is not perfect, we all have our area of weakness and struggles. Don't compare! And Husbands need to remember this as well!!!
This is especially true with social media. People only post their BEST pictures. They play a character and want to be perceived a certain way. Don't compare yourself to their filtered, cropped, photoshopped images. Be YOU. #inspiration #recovery
Don't just hang on. Every day doesn't have to be SUCH a struggle. Fight back. Understand WHY you're not fighting back, and then attack the bullies in your head. #recovery
Actions are the loudest form of communication. What you do speaks so loud that others will have a hard time hearing what you say. So practice what you preach or don’t preach at all – walk the talk. And remember that there is often a major gap between what someone says and what they do. Characterize people by their actions and you will never be fooled by their words.
This is applicable to your recovery. Words AND thoughts may lie. You can think "recovery thoughts," but if your behaviour isn't changing, you're not in recovery. Go for changing your behaviours FIRST, then deal with your thoughts. #recovery
