Wood island, copper hood, lantern lights - this looks like a kitchen that would stand up to the use it would endure around here!

We added shelves to the back wall of our walk- in pantry . We were able to do this by adding the under the stairs drawer.

It sounds so simple, but so few of us think of it: make one base cabinet a rolling element, with a built-in chopping-block top for at-your-service accessibility. This is a great idea for small kitchens and large alike. If you don't like the look of casters, have your cabinetmaker conceal the wheels with a plinth for a completely inconspicuous solution.

kitchen booth, Hmm, this might be great for breaking up the kitchen and dinning room. Maybe we could back it with some cabinets and a counter to expand the kitchen into a U shape. Also love the shelf above the window.

Kitchen Booth Design - love this! Full booth to wrap around cupboard (re: mum and wasted space). Extension to cupboard and extendable table for guests. Loooooove!
