  • A Frenchy in Eire

If this refers to the Harry Potter books, the person who wrote that clearly never read them. In these books, the main character struggles with an unwanted fame that is directly linked to the death of his family. From the beginning, he aspires at fitting in and making friends (quite uncommon for teenagers, right? :)). While growing up, he experiences the fragility and strength of friendship and love, the joy and pain they bring, and the loss of loved ones. The magic part is only that: magic. As Stephen King would say “Harry Potter is all about confronting fears, finding inner strength and doing what is right in the face of adversity…”. Not such a bad lesson to teach our kids, in the end… :)
