I grew up as a pessimist. I had some hard cards dealt to me as a child and it took me a long time to realize my complex life story could be used for good. When I chose to look at life with an optimistic view, everything changed for the better. Hard & bad things will always happen, but seeking to find joy amidst hardship, wisdom amidst uncalled for troubles, and compassion even when it's not reciprocated all create a more beautiful & balanced life. I choose to be optimistic.
optimism feels better.

+~+~ Vintage Photograph ~+~+ Woah! This photograph is very cool but it also freaks me out! How did she get up there without falling and how did she dare even try? She looks so relaxed, there's got to be an optical illusion at play because I just can't imagine how and why she managed to be on the tippy top of that rock. I sure wish I knew.
