'It was green and white and sparkling and it was coming in order to meet me. I had never seen an iceberg before. Now it all depended on whether anyone saidanything. If they said a single word about the iceberg, it wouldn't be mine any longer.' Book covers inspired by short stories taken from 'A Winter Book' by Tove Jansson, designed by Tobias Hall

When I was fifteen, I had this little record player by my window. I was what you might have called an eccentric teenager. I remember once that I was playing a record and this little yellow bird came and sat on my window. It walked back and forth across the ledge like it was dancing. It would come back every time I played that one Elvis song. I don't know what it was about that little bird, but it was my hope.

"This is the Colour of My Dreams" ~Joan Miró (partial view) Between 1924 and 1927, Miró created a group of paintings that are radically different from his earlier work. Known as peinture-poésie, these canvases, with broad and loosely brushed fields of color, are animated by just a few enigmatic signs.
