Chocolate covered bananas. I'm making these for you Carolyn.. one weekend, when there aren't a crap load of people at your house. #dessert
Easy and healthy dessert! Bust open a clementine and divide up the segments. Microwave dark chocolate morsels in a glass bowl on 50% power for 1 minute, stir, then microwave in 15 second intervals, stirring between each, until chocolate is liquid and smooth. Dip segments in chocolate, set on wax paper and refrigerate for about 10 minutes. Add a pinch of sea salt while chocolate is wet, for a salty twist. Voila! Healthy sweet snack, quick as that!
Single serve fruit crumble. Too good to share!

Pineapple Candy Chips: Seriously tastes like an awesomely flavorful, chewy, full-of-sugar candy. I am so excited to have discovered these treasures. Pineapple is a super sweet fruit and dehydrating concentrates the sugars, so it would be really easy to eat too many. They are an excellent substitute for candy, but if candy is your weakness, these will be too, fair warning.

Dip strawberries in yogurt and freeze. Healthy!
Must remember this.... When you get your berries home, prepare a mixture of one part vinegar (white or apple cider) and ten parts water. Dump the berries into the mixture and swirl around. Drain, rinse if you want (though the mixture is so diluted you can't taste the vinegar,) and pop in the fridge. The vinegar kills any mold spores and other bacteria on the surface. Raspberries will last a week or more, and strawberries go almost two weeks without getting moldy and soft....IT'S LIKE MAGIC!!!
TIP FOR KEEPING BERRIES FROM GOING MOLDY!! When you get your berries home, prepare a mixture of one part vinegar (white or apple cider probably work best) and ten parts water. Dump the berries into the mixture and swirl around. Drain, rinse if you want (though the mixture is so diluted I find you can't taste the vinegar,) and pop in the fridge. The vinegar kills any mold spores and other bacteria that might be on the surface of the fruit, and voila! Raspberries will last a week or more, and I've had strawberries go almost two weeks without getting moldy and soft.
