"Your Birthday Book: A Keepsake Journal" I have this for my son, Wyatt. There are interview pages for each year asking about likes/dislikes, folders to put invitations/keepsakes in, as well as a place to write memories of the child's year/growth. The idea is to give it to them on their 18th birthday do they can see how much they changed.

Best potty seat ever. It encourages independence from the start.

This site is amazing. Pre-school mamas, check it out.

LOVE this instead of arbitrarily giving kids an allowance. The kids can pick what they want to do and earn as much money as they choose - Dave Ramsey talks about this...very cool

Toddler Lunches: Going Beyond Chicken Nuggets, Hot Dogs, and PBJ Sandwiches.-- lots of good ideas!

Positive reinforcement - Put a cotton ball, marble, pom-pom, etc. in every time you catch your child being good. Do something special when it's full. Nice little reminder for mom to notice the good and acknowledge it!
