For The Home
Bath Mat from old Towels or t-Shirts 1. First, wash and dry the towels you’ll be using for your mat. 2. Decide how big you want your bath rug to be by measuring the dimensions on the flour, e.g.. in from of your shower recess, as shown here. 3. Purchase gridded matting and cut it to those dimensions. This usually sits under floor rugs to avoid slipping and is also called ‘rug canvas’ or ‘anti-slip mat’.4. Cut the towels into 5-6” long pieces, approx. 3/4” thick.
Give Old Towels a Second Life as Bath Mat
Take an old lotion bottle (this is a Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo bottle) and cut it to fit around an outlet and plug. Select some fabric and Mod Podge it on. Instant electronic device holder, clear counters!
Organizing measuring cups/spoons
Just take one packet of Crystal Lite Strawberry/orange/banana and pour it into a two quart container. Add one small can of pineapple juice. Fill the container to the two quart mark (with water) and stir. Now, for the really good part ... fill your favorite glass with ice. Pour in two ounces (OR MORE) of coconut rum. Then fill to the top of glass with the strawberry/banana/orange/ pineapple concoction you just made. Stir and enjoy. Okay summer!
