Soak steel wool in apple cider vinegar, rub down new wood with the soaked steel wool for an instantly aged wood look. Good to know for "vintage" signs.
Staples does oversized prints called "engineer prints." The largest size is 3' x 4' and they cost only $4.99!!
"The grove of 'candelabra' redwoods, known as the Enchanted Forest, is one of the primary reasons San Francisco's Save the Redwoods League purchased the spectacular 957-acre piece of coastline known as Shady Dell, where the gnarled old trees live." A-mazing!
Repurposing an old suitcase for storage ontop, inside and underneath. I especially like this idea for use if you have to use a CPAP machine at night. You can store the machine inside the table, open it at night to use and stow the machine and mask inside, close up when not in use. No one will know and no one will see the ugly machine by your bed.
Love this rustic Wine and Fruit Flooring from German flooring company Parador. The pattern was inspired by flooring found in old European cellars, which were often made of wood from discarded wine crates with fired-on inscriptions and dates. I've found the floor, now all I need is a wine cellar to put it in!

Benjamin Moore color....."knoxville gray".....our family room is painted this color, and the white trim really makes it pop. It's from the historical palatte at Ben Moore. I wanted to paint my living room grey in my old house a few years ago and my friend jen said "grey is boring and depressing" I love it!!!!
From the timeless and timely "This Old House" Magazine, in it's March, 2002 issue, this attractive potting shed prompted one reader to make it the very first project she ever built. She left off the cupola, but otherwise it was almost a perfect match. Now that's inspiration! I definitely don't think of this as a beginner project, but good for her for doing it!
