Teaching 2 and 3 Year Olds: Painting with Tea Bags
Our version of the hands heart photo for the silent auction at our school's Art Night fundraiser. It was quite a task getting all of those kindergarteners to keep their hands in place and hold still for the picture, and while it's not totally perfect, and we ended up with a few little heads in there, it still looked great, and the kids loved it. A local photo lab donated their services and printed it on a canvas for us. It ended up getting quite a few bids @ the silent auction on Art Night!
photo with hands, maybe have a quote about serving hands, pure hands etc in the center.
James's preschool did this on the first day of preschool. It is hanging in the hall outside his room. So cute. Handprint poem for preschool, handprint rhyme for kindergarten graduation
100 days of school ideas make a Dalmatian or cheetah.
So cute - for posting outside the classroom
File crate with each student's name on it. File work for them to do when they are "done" that is differentiated. You can also put work in there that they need extra practice with.
Living and Non-Living Things... I'd change this a bit and use realistic pictures cut from magazines (glue onto construction paper or tag board and laminate for extra durability). Laminate the living/nonliving paper too. Use Velcro dots on the paper and the pictures to make a reusable and durable game.

work boxes, have one for each student, when they finish their work they can go to their work box and pull out things to work on that the teacher has placed in there. (lets the teacher assign different things for the student/if they need extra practice in an area) - DIFFERENTIATION!...Hmmmm...better than a clunky bag...
