Add orange peels (or any citrus peel) to a quart of white vinegar in a closed container and let it set for two weeks. Combine citrus/vinegar solution half/half with water and use for cleaning. Works on floors, tile, fixtures, etc. Smells good and is tough on scum! Best of all there are no chemicals.

Keep one in the shower filled with a mixture of half vinegar and half Dawn dishsoap. Use it to wipe down the shower while you are in there and your shower will always be clean.....This is THE magic formula!

Here are some easy life hacks that will make spring cleaning easier.

Visual schedule with pull down flaps + magnets. When item is completed, close the flap, and the word "done" is on the outside.

Another pinner said: I started doing this and will never stop! My tub & shower are always spotless-so simple. Simple shower and tub cleaner: fill wand half and half. Wet surface and scrub. wow! leave in shower & wash while you are already in there

The "miracle" of baking soda and peroxide. Put 1/4 cup of baking soda in a bowl.....add enough peroxide to make a paste. Rub on with fingers or sponge. Cleans EVERYTHING! Stove, oven, pans, stainless steel applicances, even the white handles of the refrig door.

DIY Chore Chart! Brilliant!!! Finally one that makes sense. I just made 1 but its on a piece of card board and i will have to make a new 1 each week!! I love that this is so much easier and reusable :)
