Over flowing with love
Never thought to put hostas in planters. Love it.
how will the geranimums do with the shade loving hostas?
Hostas and geraniums do well in part sun/part shade. I am in zone 5 and will try this. They look so good!
What happens if they get too big? Will it be too much to separate them? I love the idea!
No Nancy, I would think it will be okay for you to dig out the hosta and just seperate and make other pots, but unless you put in a huge chunk of roots in the beginning it will take a couple of years to really get too big for your pots. You should be okay. They are great aren't they? I can't wait to do it this year!
